A Day in the Life
Peripheral Vascular Health (PVH) is a complex and dynamic business exceeding $1 billion annually, with a robust portfolio of products that address various disease states, including Peripheral and Carotid Artery Disease, Superficial and Deep Venous Diseases, and a variety of conditions treated with Peripheral Embolization. We are seeking a Senior Group Manager to lead downstream marketing for Deep Venous and Embolization product portfolio. This role involves developing global marketing strategies, executing impactful downstream initiatives, and influencing key opinion leaders. The leader will also mentor a high-performing team to maintain market leadership, strengthen customer relationships, manage product line health, and drive product preference across Medtronic’s PAD portfolio. This role reports to the VP, PVH Marketing and is a member of the PVH Marketing Leadership Team.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead all aspects of DVE downstream marketing, including the creation and execution of cohesive marketing plans that deliver exceptional customer value.
- Build and nurture a high-performing team of downstream marketers who excel in innovation, inclusivity, execution, and product expertise.
- Foster a collaborative and growth-focused team environment
- Develop and implement annual marketing plans in collaboration with field teams, regional stakeholders, and cross-functional partners.
- Analyze market trends, drive long-term strategic planning, and provide market insights for quarterly investor relations and analytics summaries.
- Collaborate with finance and sales teams to establish AOP targets across U.S. product lines.
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers and external partners to support therapy adoption and ensure the safe, effective use of Medtronic products.
- Align with regional commercial leaders to identify, prioritize, and execute global growth initiatives and marketing strategies.
- Manage global expansion recommendations and oversee launch execution.
- Develop and implement operating plans to support product launches and achieve financial objectives.
- Drive prioritization and manage marketing budgets and margin targets.
- Foster alignment with PV leaders, Sales Leadership, Marketing Leadership, and Cross-Functional Leadership teams to ensure cohesive strategies and actionable plans.
- Support the team in creating and executing new product launch strategies, including pricing, channel development, messaging, and segmentation.
- Ensure competitive planning processes for hospitals, ASCs, and office-based labs.
- Collaborate with operations partners across the value stream to support supply chain planning and execution of IBP deliverables.
- Lead, manage, and participate in cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, integration, and successful execution of marketing plans and initiatives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
REQUIRED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
- 7+ years with increasing responsibility in marketing and/or sales, with strong preference for medical device experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 5+ years marketing and/or sales experience.
- 5+ years people management experience with proven ability to lead and motivate teams
- 2+ years of direct people management experience
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Clear structured thinking with ability to take concepts from idea to action
- Proven track record recruiting, leading and developing teams
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to make data-driven decisions
- Strong marketing fundamentals in targeting, segmentation, positioning and channel management
- Global mindset
- Ability to collaborate with sales, marketing, regions, and functions as well as customers
- Experience developing and executing new strategic approaches
- Proven track record of building cross-functional allies
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong physician relationships and to partner with KOL and key customers to implement effective marketing strategies

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$158,400.00 - $237,600.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
