A Day in the Life
In this exciting role as Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) Territory Manager, you will be working closely with the Neuromodulation team to achieve sales revenue and market share targets in Melbourne and across Victoria (VIC) by providing technical and clinical excellence to implanters and clinical stakeholders for Targeted Drug Delivery (TDD), Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) and Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) portfolios.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Achieve sales revenue and market share targets for a specified territory, by promoting our range of Neuromodulation and DBS products and clinical service
Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals
Understand the clinical and service needs of customers and provide highest level of clinical service and technical support to customers while seeking out efficiency
Provide best in class clinical case support to optimise clinical outcomes for each procedure.
Be well organised and practice good territory management of inventory, case support calendar, administration and expenses
Pro-actively manage case coverage requirements, effectively engaging CSs and others where most appropriate
Practice effective communication by feeding back information regarding commercial and clinical opportunities and intelligence to relevant CS, Business Manager and other divisional staff
Consistently set and meet quarterly performance goals
Ability to be on-call & travel locally and interstate as required
Required Knowledge and Experience:
High School Diploma with minimum of 8 years relevant experience OR Associate Diploma with minimum of 6 years relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 4 years relevant experience
Relevant experience in medical device sales in clinical theatre settings
Experience with neuromodulation &/or Deep Brain Stimulation is highly desirable
Experience in account planning, territory management and forecasting
Advanced understanding of internal workings of hospital labs/ theatres / departments e.g. purchasing, consignment, clinics, patient & implant scheduling and key influencers Strong understanding of the Australian public and private healthcare system
Solid clinical and technical knowledge with the ability to build strong working relationships with key clinicians and other medical staff
Solid patient management experience
Self-motivated with a resilient attitude, striving to exceed customer expectations and deliver outstanding results
Computer literacy including sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software
Maintain a valid driver’s licence
