As a Senior Loan Set Technician, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective distribution of Spinal & Biologics loan sets, products, and associated technologies (including enabling technologies) within the territory of Victoria and Tasmania. You’ll uphold company’s agreed quality standards are maintained with regard to its products, procedures, policies, operations and customer contact.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Conduct all loan set functions in line with the Medtronic ISO13485 processes and published KPI’s
Receipt and accounting for instrument loan sets received from the Sydney DC or other interstate offices
Construct loan sets for despatch to specific surgery bookings
Process the delivery and return of loan sets to and from surgeries
Receipt and check in of loan sets from surgeries
Process the replacement of damaged instruments in loan sets
Maintain instruments in loan sets as per maintenance instructions
Ensure first-in-first-out rotation of sterile implant inventory in loan sets
Accept bookings for surgeries
Assist in regular stock takes of all products in the warehouse
Assist the Distribution Group Lead in supply chain functions
Assist with the movement of conference and training materials
Participate in the rotating on-call operations roster
Ensure a safe working environment in accordance with the relevant Occupational Heath and Safety (OH&S) legislation.
Work within and actively promote Medtronic’s core mission, corporate strategies, policies, procedures and Code of Conduct.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
4+ years of warehouse experience, preferably within the health industry, in an orthopedic loan set environment.
Computer literacy including sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software and exposure to ERP systems- experience with SAP is desirable
Sound knowledge of stock control systems
