A Day in the Life
Are you passionate about driving innovation in recruitment, fostering diversity and inclusion, and shaping the future of talent acquisition? Medtronic is seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Partner to lead and elevate our hiring strategies across DACH, UK & Ireland.
In this critical role, you’ll be at the forefront of connecting exceptional talent with opportunities to transform healthcare globally. Reporting to the EMEA Talent Acquisition Director, you’ll work in a collaborative and mission-driven environment where your leadership will directly impact our ability to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Partnering with business leaders to assess and plan for regional and operating unit-specific hiring needs, eventually serving as a market expert, staying informed on sourcing channels, competitors, and local recruitment trends.
- Driving inclusive hiring practices, including diverse slates and interview panels, to ensure equitable recruitment outcomes.
- Leading the deployment of talent acquisition programs and initiatives tailored to the unique needs of businesses.
- Managing end-to-end recruitment for all roles, including executive-level positions (Director and above).
- Developing and implementing strategies to attract early-career talent and strengthen employer branding in the region.
- Ensuring compliance with recruitment processes and delivering training to stakeholders on best practices.
- Monitoring recruiter performance and ensuring timely and high-quality recruitment delivery.
Required knowledge and experience
- At least 10 years in talent acquisition, with a proven track record of building and executing recruitment strategies that support business objectives.
- Strong background in international recruitment and working across multiple countries/regions, ideally within a matrixed organization. Expertise in executive recruitment is essential.
- Excellent leadership, influencing and communication skills, with a focus on project and program management.
- Familiarity with talent attraction, sourcing strategies, and diversity recruitment initiatives. Experience in the healthcare, life sciences, or medical device industries is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Fluency in English.
