A Day in the Life
We have an exciting opportunity for a Territory Manager to join our inclusive and collaborative Diabetes team at Medtronic, recognised as a Great Place to Work in Australia.
Based in Victoria, you will be driving sales growth and market share by promoting our Diabetes portfolio to endocrinologists, clinical educators and patients in the Victoria East & North Eastern areas including East Melbourne, Preston Heidelberg, Box Hill, Maroondah, Albury, Shepparton, Wodonga & Echuca.

As a separate entity, we anticipate leveraging increased investments to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care.
As a Territory Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and market share for our Diabetes portfolio.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Foster and develop partnerships with key health care professionals within the territory
Develop and maintain sound clinical knowledge of the diabetes product portfolio to educate key stakeholders as well as help the journey to technology for patients
Be a partner for patients throughout their technology journey including before sale educating what they product is capable of, during the sale with sound education and after sale with effective follow up to ensure a excellent patient experience
Achieve sales revenue and growth targets for assigned territory
Lead, develop & manage territory strategy to achieve quarterly and annual AOP Targets
Drive growth by identifying new and existing business opportunities, developing creative solutions to overcome barriers and relationships to enable private pathways and other growth opportunities
Travel within the assigned region, as well as other regions as required
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree is required
Minimum 3 years of experience within the Medical Device &/or pharmaceutical industry, preferably in the Diabetes space
Sales experience &/or sales capability in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth, or knowledge of account planning, territory management and forecasting in devices or healthcare industry
Proven clinical and technical knowledge in Diabetes is desirable
Strong ability to build and nurture strong clinical and business relationships with customers
Understanding of internal workings of hospitals/departments e.g. clinics, patients and key influencers
Proactiveness and adaptability with the confident ability to navigate a changing environment
Is intellectually curious and understands the responsibility of continuous learning and willingness to learn and be coached
Willingness to travel within the assigned region, as well as other regions as required
Maintain a valid driver’s licence
