As a Senior Finance Manager, you will provide crucial support to Medtronic’s VP of Service and Repair EurAsia and have direct oversight of one finance staff member. We seek leaders with a clear vision of our future and the path to achieve it. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization, building trust across multiple stakeholder groups and engage with multiple Operating Units across the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC), using a hands-on approach to optimize reporting and alignment
- Exhibit self-confidence and tenacity, driving results even under pressure
- Be a strategic thought partner to the VP, Service and Repair EurAsia
- Perform and analyse financial modelling, trends, and conduct variance analysis. Own Forecasting, financial planning, strategic planning, and expense comparisons
- Provide commentary on monthly financial statements and maintain and develop a EurAsia service and repair dashboard and submit and structure data related to short- and long-term financial forecasts within corporate applications
- Provide analysis on business development and monitor business performance by unit, division, or group
- Manage one direct report, including planning, prioritizing, and directing their responsibilities, as well as coaching and developing them
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting (Or Advanced Degree with 5+ years) plus 5+ years of progressive leadership experience
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Experience with SAP, Hyperion Spend, and OneStream
- Understanding of Project Accounting
- People management experience
