A Day in the Life
This person will operate in partnership with the US Sales Finance Director and US Sales Vice President to provide financial and strategic support to Regional Sales Directors and District Sales Managers to maximize revenue while realizing cost and operational efficiencies. This person will be responsible for coordinating with US sales leadership to drive top line growth, through strategic partnership, analytics, and special projects across the entire US region.
NV (Neurovascular) Overview

Position Responsibilities:
Provide financial leadership/direction to the regional sales management staff and develop/implement revenue growth plans in partnership with sales leadership.
Lead and coordinate the development of regional and district level strategic plans. This includes strategies down to the territory/account level.
Lead regional annual operating plan process (Rosters, Alignments, Quota, Expense budgeting.
Provide financial leadership to the Regional Sales Directors and District Managers in developing robust, accurate revenue and expense forecasts.
Evaluate region and district opportunity pipelines, class of trade trends (among other metrics) for opportunities to optimize results.
Ensure appropriate accounting controls (expense and revenue) and pricing policies are maintained and operating as expected.
Collaborate with Sales/Commercial Ops business partners to analyze inventory management performance. Work with them to create and implement strategies focused on improvement.
Collaborate with RSD and HR on sales force alignment, performance and compensation strategies.
Collaborate with Total Rewards and Sales compensation to ensure proper commission payment to the field and understand how sales incentive plan impacts growth/field behaviors.
Collaborate with Sales Systems team to optimize systems tools and reporting.
Partners with Director of Strategic Sales and Sales Operations to build long-term alliances and ensure alignment on key strategies.
Partners with Direct Distribution COE to ensure alignment of cost impacts on key strategies.
Partnership between Field leadership and Pricing/Contracting group to understand account level pricing impacts.
Ensure alignment on sales structure/headcount between Sales Leadership and Internal partners.
Engage in special projects as assigned.
All activities must be performed in compliance with the local Quality System.
Performs duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies or governmental regulations.
Partnership with Sales Operations to develop/track inventory strategies and optimization
All other duties as assigned.
Domestic travel up to 20%
Basic Qualifications
MUST HAVE (BASIC QUALIFICATIONS)IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME - THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION.
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
10+ years of work experience in relevant Finance and/or Accounting OR
Advanced Degree with 8+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Engineering
MBA and/or CPA and financial systems experience.
Ability to work well under pressure and deliver tough messages to sales management team and NV leadership to succeed
Strong business acumen
Self-motivated and goal oriented
Tactful, exercises independent judgment and discretion.
Excellent written/oral communication & presentation skills
Strong quantitative analysis/modeling and problem-solving skills, and high degree of initiative and influence management skills.
Business partnering: Identifies a broad range of business issues and provides leadership in the decision-making process, actively participates in managing the business and establishing its strategic direction.

Financial analysis: Organizes and structures business information to identify specific risks and opportunities. Applies quantitative and qualitative factors, skills and business experience, to arrive at meaningful conclusions and recommendations. Develops innovative alternatives and solutions when issues arise.
Internal controls: Understands and effectively applies internal control principles and objectives, including Medtronic's Key Corporate Policies.
Planning & reporting: Accurately monitors and projects the organization's financial performance. Provides performance measures and interprets results in view of plans and objectives.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$133,600.00 - $200,400.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
