Established closed-door compounding pharmacy is seeking pharmaceutical sales representatives specializing in veterinary medicine. The ideal candidate possesses the following traits and skill set:
- Strong entrepreneurial drive and self-motivation
- Demonstrated understanding of veterinary clinic and hospital operations
- Detail-orientation
- Very effective written and oral communication skills
- Proven record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
- Experience building and maintaining a substantial book of business
- Flexibility, resourcefulness, and reliability
Responsibilities include:
- Establish and maintain a lucrative territory
- Visit veterinary clinics and hospitals to educate clients on products and services we offer
- Maintain close professional relationships with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, veterinary office staff, etc.
- Be responsible for implementing personalized marketing strategies to drive sales and exceed goals
- Explore opportunities to expand knowledge and develop business strategies
- Effectively identify areas of potential improvement to create and execute personalized solutions
