Penrose Hospital is seeking a Vascular Surgeon to join our two board-certified vascular surgeons in a vascular/endovascular only group.


  • Board Certified; Board Eligible for recent fellows

  • Colorado License or eligible to obtain a license

  • Experienced surgeons welcome to apply

Additional information:

  • Weekday call would be 1 in 3.

  • Weekend call is shared with colleagues in a separate group and would be 1 in 8.

  • Strong Nurse Practitioner support and two Physician Assistants who provide surgical first assist as well as clinic support

  • The office also has a non-invasive vascular lab with the support of vascular technicians to conduct studies

Penrose – St. Francis Health Services is the primary referral center for multiple hospitals in the southeast quadrant of Colorado. Southern Colorado Vascular Surgery works primarily out of one hospital, Penrose Hospital, a 364 bed center in Colorado Springs. Our office suite is located in the East tower of Penrose Hospital directly above the Critical Care Units with direct access to the operating rooms. We work closely with the busiest cardiac surgery and cardiology programs in Southern Colorado. Penrose offers state-of-the-art equipment such as a hybrid operating room, the first of its kind in southern Colorado. We also have the option to use the Vascular Center of Colorado for endovascular surgical needs.
