As the first spin-off of Europe's leading AI venture studio Merantix, Vara has grown since 2018 to become a 30-member international team. Our diverse team consists of highly motivated and ambitious entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals, and technology experts.
We are looking for a Medical Science Liaison who would work closely with the clinical, marketing, and sales teams. Your role is essential to the generation and communication of relevant evidence to a broad range of stakeholders in the healthcare environment.

* You will be responsible for leading the preparation of German-language medical-scientific statements, support in the preparation of German medical content for market access, and oversee medical content approval of materials with potential external impact, as well as answering medical second level inquiries
* You will support the acquisition of new external experts, speakers, and collaborators from medical-scientific centers You are expected to establish resilient relationships through personal, scientific information exchange
* You will participate in international, national and regional congresses and symposia, including preparation of scientific presentation materials
* You will support Vara internal educational programs, field training, and speaker workshops, etc.
* You will enhance market access and commercial activities by laying a strong foundation of scientific understanding on which to create value for the product, healthcare professionals and patients
* Completed university degree in natural sciences or health sciences, preferably in radiology, medical physics, epidemiology or a related field;
* Experience with clinical research, interest and understanding of artificial intelligence/machine learning;
* Ability to effectively communicate complex clinical evidence and statistical data analyses to medical and lay audiences;
* Experience with health technology assessment preferred;
* Strategic approach, high organizational skills and collaborative working style;
* Experience in medical-scientific field service in the pharmaceutical or medical device environment is a must;
* Entrepreneurial drive, willingness to take responsibility, high ambition and the ability to achieve goals collaboratively;
* Excellent verbal and written communication, eager to build strong relationships and fun in joint research;
* Fluent knowledge of English and German is a must;
* High degree of flexibility and customer-orientation, independent and quality-conscious action;
