Under the direction of a supervisor and/or groupleader, the Utility Worker works in a safe manner at all times and preparesglassware and other laboratory equipment by washing, packing, and assemblingfor laboratory use. Electronically receives, stores, and delivers laboratorysupplies and packages; prepares and transfers waste material such asradioactive, chemical, and pathological for disposal and performs cleaning andhousekeeping duties as directed.  Allduties are carried out in compliance with departmental standard operatingprocedures, company policies and Current Good Manufacturing Practices.Employees must complete departmental performance and knowledge based trainingmodules and has an ability to follow written and spoken instructions.  Position may require heavy lifting (up to50lb), exposure to noise, varying temperatures (hot/cold), and potentialexposure to broken glass. 


Education Requirement:

High school diploma or equivalent

Must satisfactorily complete all performance andknowledge-based training modules.
