Description
The VelociGene Molecular Biology group is dedicated to creating targeting vectors that will contribute toward Regeneron's target discovery efforts. We are looking for a temporary molecular research associate to join our VelociGene Molecular Biology group for a 12 month period.
In this role a typical day may include:
Construct high-quality bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC)-based targeting vectors.
Maintain accurate electronic records and excellent time management of daily tasks.
Communicate progress updates for each project in a clear and concise manner.
This role may be for you if you are:
To be considered for this role, you need a Bachelor or Master's Degree with 2 or more years of related experience or training. We are looking for someone with basic molecular biology techniques including DNA cloning, nucleic acid purification and analyses protocols such as PCR. Basic knowledge of DNA analysis software is helpful. This will be an opportunity for you to grow your molecular biology skills in a fast paced lab.
