As a Technology Marketing Manager at Merck’s Austin IT HUB, you will be part of inventing tomorrow.  Our Innovative centers are where great people come together and deliver solutions that save and improve lives.


How will you invent the future?

Merck, known as MSD outside the US and Canada, has been inventing medicines and vaccines for many of the world’s most challenging diseases in humans and animals. Our goal is to help save or improve lives around the world!

Technology has been playing an important role in that mission. As a Technology Marketing Manager at Merck’s newest IT HUB in Austin, you will be part of inventing tomorrow.

We are seeking a motivated, talented individual interested in solving problems to improve peoples lives tomorrow. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Promote our “tech brand” externally in the U.S. and help us attract the best talent and partners through the use of thought-leadership assets, industry awards, and local marketing activities.
  • Market our technology solutions internally and externally as appropriate, to increase adoption and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Help manage internal communications across our technology hubs in the US, Prague and Singapore.
  • Work on various digital health initiatives, especially within the robust Austin ecosystem.


  • Bachelors Degree or higher in marketing or related field.


  • A minimum 5 years of marketing experience.
  • Knowledge of product marketing, product positioning, global branding and promotion strategy and process.
  • Ability to align local marketing tactics and programs to a global program.
  • Experience managing multiple marketing channels, especially digital an social, simultaneously.
  • Clear understanding of how to measure marketing and communication tactics to show ROI.
  • Ability to work independently at times, and in a fast-changing environment.


  • Marketing experience in tech, healthcare, or digital health.
  • Experience with complex organizations.
  • Global experience.
