Performs information systems security in accordance with company policy and procedures across the corporate network to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. Monitors and reports on security related events and reports, and responds to anomalies and alerts.


Essential Functions:

  • Perform all identity lifecycle management functions per information security policies, procedures, and service level agreements. Includes access provisioning and modifications, timely removal of access, and account maintenance.
  • Works with managers, associates, and customers to provide informational and technical support. Help desk tickets, as well as other methods of requests for support (i.e. email, security hotline, etc.) are to be assigned and completed per service level agreement or within the time frame specified by the Information Security Manager.
  • Work with security analysts to archive and retrieve user data per security policies and procedures to support legal discovery and data collection requests.
  • Work with project managers, business analysts, and application development staff to design, configure and implement application security. Includes creating naming conventions, processes, procedures and standards, role based security, security groups, methodology, workflows, and auditing.   
  • Works with IT compliance manager and internal and external auditors to provide support and demonstrate effective use of access controls. Includes internal and external ITGC audits, periodic self-assessments, and coordination of periodic user access reviews.
  • Works with the information security manager and analysts to support development and maintenance of information security policies, procedures; awareness and training initiatives utilizing standards and templates.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

  • Education/Learning Experience
    • Required:  High School graduate or equivalent
    • Desired:  College or technical degree in a computer related field and/or significant IT experience
  • Work Experience
    • Required:  One year of professional experience working with Active Directory user and group security. Hands on troubleshooting of access controls and other security related issues. Proficient in the use of ticketing systems and documentation of processes and procedures.
    • Desired:  Three years experience working in a large corporate environment with multiple locations processing several hundred user access requests weekly for multiple applications. Experience with IT audits and working with auditors.  Knowledge and exposure to antivirus, patch management, web filtering, email security, security monitoring and reporting.
  • Skills/Knowledge
    • Required:  Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint
    • Desired:   Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, Visio, Quest Active Roles Server, ServiceNow
  • Licenses/Certifications 
    • Required:  Information Security and/or IT Certification (i.e. CompTIA A+, Security +, MTA, , etc.)
    • Desired:   Networking and Information Security Certifications
