In this position, the employee will have the responsibility to work with one of our Integrated Product Teams to connect product supply to the patient. This involves linking each function of the site value chain together with the common goal of supplying quality product to the customer when they want it and how they want it. Oversees performance monitoring of suppliers to Wilson and drives actions needed to improve supplier performance. 


This position is seen as a subject matter expert in site supplying functions and maintains positive relationships with customers and suppliers. To be successful in this position, one needs to work cross-functionally to coordinate tactically and create processes to reduce lead time to the patient and reduce costs. 

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree or higher in a Supply Chain/Manufacturing related field

Required:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Communication, organization, and multi-tasking abilities
  • Familiarity with lean/ six sigma tools and processes
  • Familiarity with production operations, procurement and inventory control systems
  • Understanding of site supply chain and supporting processes and exposure to the planning/scheduling and capacity processes, production execution, warehousing, and quality management systems
  • Ability to interface with, and understand, the processes, timing and priorities for the area supported
  • Self-motivated individual with ability to work autonomously and with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

  • Financial acumen
  • Database management
  • Experience using SAP (ECC/APO/BI) and Kinaxis Rapid Response
  • Data analytics with PivotTables, TIBCO Spotfire, charting, etc
  • Creation and implementation of lean/six sigma tools and processes
  • Ability to identify opportunity of improvement, create business cases and gain support
