**Lakeside Hospital a** collaboration between CHI St. Luke's Health and a team of specialized physicians- focused on cardiology and interventional cardiology, sports medicine, orthopedics, including total joint replacement, and spine care-in The Woodlands community. As the only hospital in Montgomery County to offer sports medicine as a major service line, Lakeside Hospital provides inpatient and outpatient care including diagnostic imaging, including MRI, CT and nuclear medicine.

**Position Summary**

Leads people and Manages systems. Leads the staff in setting and meeting goals and objectives in the areas of

patient care, education, and research to meet or exceed the reasonable needs and expectations of internal and

external customers of the Department of Pharmacy. Facilitates development of departmental goals and

objectives. Serves as a role model and mentor in customer service and process improvement.

**Responsibilities**

+ Promotes a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships, andteam building.

+ Leads and Manages areas of responsibility by adopting and integrating the philosophy andprinciples of Total Quality.

+ Monitors the utilization, quantity, quality, and cost of resources and output in the areas of responsibility by collecting dataand maintaining records.

+ Mentors team members in the areas of responsibility to facilitate and reinforce learning.

+ Fulfills the role of innovator, leader, and facilitator in areas ofresponsibility to ensure continuous quality improvement.

+ Plans, Implements, and evaluates programs to ensure that optimal, high quality pharmaceutical care is provided. a. Assesses customer

**Education required**

Master's Degree

**Experience required**

Five (5) years leadership experience
