PharMerica  Medical Records on Beaverton, OR is recruiting a Medical Records Supervisor to join our team.

 

The Medical Records Supervisor ensures the timely and correct operation of the pharmacy computer system and that input and output are accomplished when needed.  Operates keyboard or other data entry device to enter data into computer by performing the essential job functions.

 

Essential Functions:

 

 

  • Works with medical records associates to maintain and ensure the data integrity of the medical records department.
  • Works with medical records associates to ensure the entry of data to facilitate the prompt delivery and shipment of product.
  • Recruits, selects, and trains new personnel to facilitate proper paper flow and ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Schedules terminal access to accommodate demands and priorities.
  • Communicates with facilities regarding corrections of medical data.
  • Assists consultant pharmacists by obtaining facility data from system as needed.  May also inform consultant pharmacists regarding departmental procedures.
  • Manages associates to the level of performance expected by PharMerica by coaching, training, mentoring, and evaluating performance and handling disciplinary issues as they arise.
  • Observe and comply with all PharMerica, ability to read and write English, ability to communicate and ability to remain calm under stress.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

 

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college level coursework preferred
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a medical records environment required
  • Must be available to work Mon – Fri between the hours of 5 am - 5 pm (up to 40 hrs per week)
