PeaceHealth is seeking a Strategic Consumer Engagement Lead for a 1.0 full time equivalent Exempt position. This position will be working Day shift with shift durations of Variable.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for coordinating day-to-day functions for system consumer engagement and marketing. Develops, oversees, and integrates marketing and consumer engagement strategies that support overarching system and network business objectives. Assists with ensuring that departmental goals are achieved, budget and timelines met, and service excellence provided in all aspects of work. Collaborates with department leadership to uphold brand standards and stewardship across the system.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Assigns work; plan and coordinates priorities, staff schedules, quality of work, team projects.  Mentors staff, provides constructive feedback, oversees staff training, ensures quality improvement, provide leadership feedback on staff performance, and assists with team goal setting.
  2. Leads the development and implementation effort for consumer engagement and marketing and help ensure that efforts are consistent with technical and professional standards.
  3. Coordinates brand image of PeaceHealth, assess impact of competitive activities and market forces on the market position of PeaceHealth.
  4. Develops and coordinates overarching marketing budgets. Ensure that marketing initiatives fall within parameters of the approved budget.
  5. Coordinates consumer insights, research and engagement initiatives systemwide and support select network-specific initiatives.
  6. Coordinates with network marketing specialists and communications directors to ensure alignment in approach that unifies our brand presence and supports business objectives.
  7. Oversees development of strategy documents, creative briefs and statements of work related to campaign development and execution. Develops and deploys marketing automation strategies maximizing CRM system to achieve business objectives.
  8. Coordinates engagement with and oversee work of external vendors for consumer engagement projects.
  9. Provides support of daily operations related to invoicing, contracting, vendor engagement, etc. for consumer engagement and marketing.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned.

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS -  Required unless otherwise stated

EDUCATION:     

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or related field or equivalent education and/or experience required.
  • Master’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field preferred.

 

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:

  • Minimum of five years of marketing experience is required.
  • Significant marketing experience in healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Previous experience managing marketing technical professionals is preferred.
  • Experience leading multiple projects simultaneously is required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory role is preferred.

 

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

  • N/A                       

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Solid understanding of marketing applications in a healthcare provider setting
  • Proficient with computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of the healthcare delivery system; hospital and community-based
  • Proven ability to synthesize multi-source data into actionable information
  • Excellent communication skills including writing and presenting using computer based applications
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities in an effective manner
  • Ability to deal with complex organizational environments; high tolerance for ambiguity and change
  • High level of project management and organizational skills and commitment to quality
  • Ability to establish credibility and forge lasting relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to garner support and engagement across stakeholder groups, both internal and external
