POSITION SUMMARY:



Coordinates all staffing and scheduling functions for Nursing in collaboration with nursing management team.  Develops and implements systematic procedures for monitoring and evaluating staffing activities, and payroll functions.

POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



1: Completes daily staffing using appropriate guidelines and policies. Assigns float staff appropriately and supplies agency personnel when needed and available.



2: Uses knowledge of computer systems and current policies to develop, utilize, and maintain an accurate Nursing Data Base.



3: Acts as caretaker of the computerized scheduling system.



4: Collaborates with Clinical  Manager in coaching, mentoring, and facilitating growth. Provides computerized scheduling system orientation and training to personnel.



5: Develops and implements systems to track contract labor information: including licensing, competency, and billing information.  Keeps files on all agency employees and verifies hours worked and billed for accounts payable.  Maintains a file of all billed agency hours and supplies reports of agency usage on a monthly/yearly basis.



6: Analyzes staffing trends, develops, implements procedures for, and supplies reports for monitoring and evaluating staffing and scheduling activities.



7: Assists Clinical Manager in the daily operations of the float pool, such as payroll, coordinating orientation, and scheduling.



8: Works collaboratively with Centura computerized scheduling system users and IS support personnel.



9: Promotes and maintains positive relationships with all contacts.

  • Light work - (Exert up to 20lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 10lbs frequently)
