The Scheduler performs data entry of itineraries and initiate schedules/calendars that assist in maintaining staffing productivity.   



  1. Maintains hard copy and electronic staff schedules by inputting vacation days, future schedules, and staffing adjustments. 

  2. Assists clinicians in generating and finalizing four week schedule for staff and working calendar for each employee and partner with the clinicians on leveling out visits to maintain productivity levels.

  3. Identifies and reconciles scheduling problems and notify clinical manager of issues as appropriate.

  4. Supports communication with field staff, team members, peers, and Clinical Manager to keep all informed of changing staffing levels, productivity updates, pending volumes of incoming referrals, and any other staffing issues.
  5. Responds to all telephone calls regarding staff scheduling

Education and/or Experience                                                              

High School graduate or GED required. Previous staff scheduling experience, preferred. 

Certified Nursing Assistant, preferred.


Working knowledge and strength in organization, assertiveness, flexibility, cooperation in performing job responsibilities; and excellent customer service skills;  demonstrated autonomy.


Computer Skills                                                          

Basic PC skills with working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
