McDowell's Pharmacy in Scotland Neck is looking for a Pharmacist with a strong work ethic that desires to provide high quality patient care. You will have the opportunity to work in an environment that fosters creativity and growth. We are a progressive independent pharmacy that is focused on creating an exceptional patient experience. You will be able to help develop and implement new clinical services to improve outcomes for our patients. In addition to traditional dispensing, we offer immunizations, point of care testing, adherence packaging, medication synchronization, medicare plan consultations, diabetes education, long-term care services, and more. We are on a mission to become a healthcare destination. Great hours (9-530 M-F), no weekends. Community pharmacy experience preferred, but not required.
Daily/Monthly Activities
- Oversee and manage clinical services to constantly improve patient experience and outcomes
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness of drug therapy
- Develop relationships with other healthcare providers to foster a collaborative care environment
- Optimize pharmacy management system to lead drug utilization efforts
- Implement new services and revenue streams as established by Owner
Skills/Qualifications
- Immunization Certified
- Active NC Pharmacy License in good standing
- CPR Certified
