Position Description
As part of the health care team, practices Pharmacy as a knowledge based clinical profession, and integrates patient oriented services with traditional distributive and drug control activities. Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers. Advises the same with respect to drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy. Serves all patients to include, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
The Pharmacist will be working between 56-70 hours every 2 weeks, shifts vary from 6:30a-5p and 8:30a-5p.
The Pharmacist will not work on weekends or holidays.
Position Requirements
REQUIRED:
* Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
* Must have an active GA Pharmacy license.
PREFERRED:
* One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience.
* Good communication skills.
* Experienced with Inpatient, Outpatient, Hospital, & Retail Pharmacy
