Position Summary

The Pharmacology department is seeking a cellular pharmacologist  to join the Chemical Biology group.   A background in cell-based assay development and familiarity with small molecule screening to interrogate compound effects on phenotypes of interest is required.   Hands-on experience in cell culture and biosample preparation (cells, tissues, organs, etc) is required with preference given to candidates with a chemical biology background, experience in phenotypic screening, primary cell culture, high content imaging and/or experience in neuroscience or infectious disease. 

The successful applicant will have a track record of achievement working on project teams and independently designing and executing experiments. 

 

Qualifications

Education Requirement: B.S. in Biology or equivalent  with 6 or more years of industrial experience or a Ph.D. in Biology with 2 or more years of postdoctoral or industry experience is required.
