Provides for uninterrupted flow of pharmaceutical products and supplies to the organization including hospitals, retail pharmacies, clinics, surgery centers and other departments as needed. Selects new pharmaceutical products and supplies with guidance from department management. Performs and / or supervises inventory control procedures that may consist of product ordering, receiving, returns, cycle counts, and recalls. Reviews invoices and resolves problems including order discrepancies, back orders, and contract price changes. Initiates procedures to update formulary databases and barcode associations as needed. Maintains all records pertaining to pharmaceuticals (including controlled substances) and supplies in compliance with organization policy as well as state and federal regulations.

High School Diploma or GED required.
•Requires Indiana Pharmacy Technician License.
•Requires Pharmacy Technician National Certification.
• 5+ years relevant experience preferred.
•Requires the absence of criminal history related to the ability to work with drugs.
•Requires strong mathematical calculation skills.
•Requires full proficiency as a pharmacy technician in assigned areas and ability to work within established procedures under limited supervision.
•Requires strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Requires strong customer service skills.
•Requires intermediate proficiency typing and using Microsoft Office applications.
