Job Summary

The Supply Chain Solution Specialist I is responsible for supporting in the management of critical supply chain systems and business functions in conjunction with Supply Chain Leadership and other supply chain staff.  The Supply Chain Specialist I is responsible for implementing process improvements, reporting solutions, documentation of processes and the execution of special projects in conjunction with the Supply Chain Solutions Specialist II.

 

The Supply Chain Specialist I is responsible all aspects of the management of the system and works closely with the other Supply Chain teams, which utilize the systems, and the IS organization which supports the back end integration and technical aspects behind the solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assists in the development of Supply Chain process improvements and systems including the ERP, eProcurement, Carousel, Point of Use, Sterile Processing system, @chop and peripheral systems.
  • Leads small to medium projects for process and systems improvement
  • Develops requirements and functional design documentation for the implementation of new systems features
  • Develops and supports analytics solutions in conjunction with customers and other Central Service Team members
  • Maintains systems documentation and related process flows related to systems functionality
  • Coordinates with the Education Lead to develop and maintain appropriate training materials
  • Troubleshoot operational issues within systems and processes in support of operational teams
  • Participate in continuous improvement process converting systems issues or business need in to solutions
  • Collaborates in the development and maintenance of SOPs for operational areas
  • Works with the customer service team on communication and knowledge base
  • Provides operational metrics for Supply Chain teams

Required Licenses, Certifications, Registrations

Required Education and Experience

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED

 

Required Experience:

  • Three (3) years of experience in the functional management of Supply Chain Systems

Preferred Education, Experience & Cert/Lic

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business or related field

Additional Technical Requirements

  • Ability to lead small to medium projects including a diverse set of individuals
  • Strong analytical and data skills
  • Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve both technical and process issues
  • Excellent written and verbal capabilities
  • Strong Process Knowledge in the areas which the systems support
  • Ability to work autonomously and create recommendations for Supply Chain Leader related to systems
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • Knowledge of supply chain systems, such as ERP, point of use, business intelligence required. 
  • Experience in the maintenance and administration of Software Solutions in desirable.  Specific knowledge and experience with Coupa, WorkDay or Qlikview highly preferred
  • Ability to document business requirements and business processes effectively
  • Ability to translate business requirement into technology solutions, with support from IT as needed
  • Experience in Data Analytics Techniques and Reporting Languages, such as SQL, preferred.
