Receives, inspects, stores and ships incoming raw material, pre-sterile and sterile product. Enters transactions into the computer system and aids in movement of materials to and from production.


This position includes significant duties such as:

  • Receives and inspects incoming raw materials, entering items into PeopleSoft for inventory accountability and control
  • Creates PO’s for raw materials and dispatches to vendor
  • Distribute raw materials to production cells as required according to the MPS
  • Receive, count, verify and deliver all UPS, Federal Express to ordering parties and process outgoing shipments to ensure prompt delivery of priority material (UPS, DHL, FedEx, and next day air shipments)
  • Performs cycle count of stored raw materials and/or Finished goods to ensure proper inventory control
  • Coordinate, pull, prepare, and ship finished goods
  • Receives and puts away finished goods from production
  • Prepare product for sterilization Shipment
  • Receive sterile product and break down for shipments or transfers to finished goods warehouse
  • Operates pallet wrapping machine, manual and power pallet jacks, and forklifts
  • Uses a variety of software packages, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, UPS and Fedex software, and ERP system
  • Assists in keeping department and/or finished goods area clean and organized
  • Observes all safety, environmental and quality system standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Working Conditions:

Somewhat disagreeable working conditions.  Exposure to heat and cold throughout the year with other exposure to dust and dirt. Continuous light lifting and occasional heavy lifting required.  Some exposure to dust, dirt, noise and outside elements but none are disagreeable.  Position requires long periods of standing, bending, and walking.



High school Diploma or GED required



0-3 months experience working in a manufacturing environment.  Forklift certification preferred.  Able to effectively communicate in English.  Basic math and computer skills (i.e. MS Excel), understand verbal instructions and work with little or no supervision.
