Develops, plans, and executes all field sales communications supporting franchises/therapeutic areas and other logistics pertaining to sales support. These communications include field bulletins, Sr. Leader voicemail broadcasts, national meeting content, and teleconference content.
The Branded Communications Senior Specialist is also responsible for managing the flow of communications from HQ to individual sales teams. This includes managing communications from multiple teams and ensuring the timing of the communications avoids conflicts. 


In addition to managing the flow and timing of communications, the Branded Communications Senior Specialist provides a clear line of sight to Sr. Marketing and Sales Leaders, enabling prioritization and informed trade-off decisions on the branded and non-branded communications delivery (method, timing, frequency).


  • This position is also responsible for a wide variety of projects; for example planning the National Sales Mtgs. 
  • This work requires the development of a communication plan from end to end. 
  • Execute on the logistics of delivering the content. 
  • Work with external vendors, managing agency contracts to produce materials for the communication plan. 
  • The Branded Communications Senior Specialist requires a high-degree of ethics, judgment, decision-making and responsibility, as well as in-depth understanding of the marketing strategy for each brand represented.
  • This position supports key stakeholders for the US Market for Vaccines.

Qualifications

Education :

  • B.S./B.A. degree in Business, Biological Science, English, Communication
Required:
  • 2 or more years of Merck Pharmaceutical Sales OR Merck US Field Sales Operations experience 
  • Excellent communication - written, verbal, and presentation skills 
  • Negotiation and project management skills 
  • Excel, Power Point & Word proficiency
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and presence

Preferred :
