Description
Our client is a pre-IPO company with $180+ million in funding focused on developing oncology therapeutics using a new treatment modality. As they scale, we are seeking a computational biology scientist to join the data science team; this team is essential to their discovery platform. You will work closely with the discovery team from beginning to end of the drug development process and help develop cutting edge science that will save patients' lives.
You will:
* Develop an integrated data science and discovery platform with speed, scalability, predictability, and universal accessibility.
* Build industry-leading discovery and development pipelines
* Directly contribute to the design, analysis, and interpretation of -omics experiments.
* Leverage externally developed tools or develop custom solutions to meet analysis, data visualization, and reporting needs.
* Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources to identify and select new targets, elucidate compound mechanism of action in cells or in vivo models, discover biomarkers, and define patient populations.
Your profile:
* PhD in Computational Biology or Bioinformatics or Computer Science
* ~3 years of industry experience
* Cancer biology experience: common cancer genomics / bioinformatics databases and tools.
* R/Python programming expert
Must be authorized to work in the US indefinitely to be considered.
