As a Senior Pharmacy Technician you'll be responsible for various duties related to the fulfillment of prescription orders. Along the way, you'll discover the training, support and career opportunities you'd expect from a Fortune 5 leader. Retail Pharmacy Technicians are encouraged to apply!

Working Schedule: 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday through Friday

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Dispense any or all of the following: tablets/capsules, unit doses, specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, IV, and related supplies following state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures
  • Process, pack and ship outgoing pharmacy orders, ensuring drug, related supplies and patient collateral (education materials) are included
  • Other duties as business needs require

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED or higher
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Massachusetts
  • 1 + years of previous pharmacy / prescription data entry experience
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to ensure compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)
  • Previous sterile compounding experience (or willingness to learn in role)
