The Senior MD-Staff Application Analyst supports the maintenance of the MD-Staff electronic credentialing system application and reporting tools within Presence Health. Assists with the maintenance and implementation of the application in addition to providing more complex troubleshooting assistance and end user training and support. Provides expert application knowledge, project management, and report development to support the directives assigned to the department. Manages relationship with vendor, including follow-up to all outstanding issues.




  1. Directs and project manages medium to large project implementations and system enhancements.
  2. Assists in defining levels of system security, monitors access, coordinates setups and maintains the integrity of MD-Staff operations. Ensures change control procedures are followed and monitors compliance.  Documents all changes to the system.
  3. Manages relationship with MD-Staff (Applied Systems & Management-ASM) to proactively manage and escalate all outstanding technical issues associated with the system.
  4. Assists in maintaining system table/dictionaries and ensures they meet the requirements of leadership and information systems.
  5. Assists with testing, implementing, monitoring new software releases, additional modules, products, patches, and system changes during pre/post implementations.

Education and/or Experience                                                              

Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, or Business Administration required plus a minimum five years of experience within a hospital or health system decision support or information systems environment. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience supporting a centralized credentialing software product preferred.


Experience with management of physician data preferred.


MD Staff enhancement, modification and project management/implementation experience or related experience preferred.


Computer Skills                                                          

Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Should have knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Outlook.
