YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Manager Customer Logistics E-Commerce, are to:   

  • Develop and execute .com logistics and customer supply chain plans and strategies that align and deliver Business Partner E-commerce sales and profit goals;
  • Develop and maintain E-commerce logistics best practices while balancing external customer requirements with Bayer logistics capabilities;
  • Create, establish, and/or manage customer-specific E-commerce logistics scorecards to monitor progress and identify and close gaps;
  • Lead E-commerce logistics annual business planning process in collaboration with Business Partners;
  • Leverage business analytics to influence customer and company decision making at appropriate levels to build E-commerce logistics capabilities and results;
  • Support Bayer's Global E-commerce focus by sharing best practices and partnering with other global markets in the development of E-commerce logistics capabilities;
  • Ensure E-commerce logistics capabilities and services are on-target with Business Partners requirements;
  • Lead effort in development of the CH E-commerce service and logistics capabilities;
  • Participate in external boards to develop best practices within the US market and share groups focused on E-commerce development;
  • Establish and build relationships across the E-Commerce industry, both at customers (e.g. Amazon, WM/JET) and with key influencers within the consumer healthcare marketplace.

     

WHO YOU ARE   

Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE values.  More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: 

 Required Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree in related field with a minimum 12 years of experience, preferably in E-commerce and OTC drug or consumer  packaged goods business;
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage E-Commerce and the ability to demonstrate growth in the market and build business through new and existing channels;
  • Demonstrated progressive leadership/management responsibility while managing cross-functional teams;
  • Demonstrated experience working with top Retailers, Drug Wholesalers, Distributors and/or Government entities;
  • Strong communication/presentation skills, both written and verbal;
  • Ability to balance external/internal focus with a developing Class of Trade (e.g. Process/Speed/Value/Growth);
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Master's degree in related field.
