The Senior Pharmacy Clinical Advisor will be part of an interactive team with broad exposure and scope within Humana. Humana is seeking a positive and proactive individual to contribute to a high performing team whose mission is to empower our members to achieve their best health through optimizing medication use.

**Responsibilities**

**Responsibilities:**

+ Contributes to the development of innovative clinical strategies designed to improve appropriate medication use e.g.: medication adherence

+ Collaborates with internal and external partners to support the implementation and ongoing management of program initiatives.

+ Works holistically with internal and external program partners to continuously improve program and process quality.

+ Leverages data to understand program performance and opportunities for program enhancement.

+ Continuously monitors relevant publicly available news/developments in the pharmaceutical sector, generating insights and program ideas.

+ Contribute to corporate communications of high quality to be shared with strategic partners regarding program performance and areas of opportunity.

+ Partners with pharmacists, data scientists, and vendors in a collaborative environment.

+ Lead multidisciplinary meetings, embracing the keys of Essential Facilitation, to drive to alignment and results.

+ Utilize data to drive strategic decision making, and generate insights.

**Required Qualifications:**

+ Degree of Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD or RPh) from an accredited School of Pharmacy

+ Clear and active Pharmacist license in the state(s) in which you are required to practice

+ 3+ years of clinical experience in managed care or pharmacy related field, or equivalent

+ Previous experience working with pharmacy bases clinical programs

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills, previous experience presenting and interacting with senior leadership

+ Flexible, dynamic personality with a demonstrated ability to lead and influence others without authority while contributing individually

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS)

+ MBA, pharmacoeconomics or health outcomes training

+ Previous experience in quality measure performance

+ Three years' experience in pharmacy benefits management and Medicare Part D

+ Understands managed care and is capable of generating insights into the business

**Additional Information:**

**Must have accessibility to high speed DSL or Cable modem for a home office (Satellite internet service is NOT allowed for this role); and recommended speed for optimal performance for Humana systems is 10Mx1M**

**Vaccination Info**

For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.
