Position Summary:

The Healthcare Reporting Analyst provides clinical and operational analysis through the collection, manipulation, validation, reconciliation, and reporting of member, quality, financial, and claims data. Responsible for learning Optum custom and IPro analytics, developing custom management dashboards and automating data feeds from disparate systems payer and medical records systems. The focus will be allowing FullWell to move reactive analytics to predictive analytics more in line with its assumption of risk mission.  Assists and trains users in understanding processes and the nature and meaning of data and reports. Partners with customers to identify their needs and solutions. Responsible for coordinating and performing training on systems for the team, including interpreting data with actionable results. 


Minimum Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree required (in Health Administration, Computer Science, Business or a related field preferred)

Health Analytics certifications not required but appreciated


Minimum Experience Requirements:

3-5 years’ experience in working with claims, EMR and gaps in care data.

3-5 years’ experience with reporting on Payer and Provider systems using state of the art analysis tools.

Knowledge of population healthcare management tools, or demonstrated desire to learn.

Knowledge of healthcare EDI, Utilization Management, Disease Management, Network and population BI preferred.

Familiarity with healthcare data, including claims and member data, preferred.

Self-motivated learner able to acquire new technical skills as needed.

Organized, self-starter.

Must be able to work independently and collaboratively.

Working knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in data handling, report generation and analysis, including financial and operational analysis, trends and variance analysis, and able to communicate the same to user groups.

Well-read and passionate about what deep data analysis can do to improve Provider performance and Patient outcomes.

Strong desire to provide FullWell management, Patients and Providers just in time decision relevant knowledge.

Strong aptitude and proven experience working with all levels of management.

Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Primary job duties typically require exercising independent judgment.

Additional Skills:

Optum, Excel, Tableau, SharePoint, Analytics Services and PowerBI, SQL, presentation of reports and cubes into multiclient portal preferred with the ability to learn new systems as required.

Familiarity with tools like Predilytics, machine learning and stratifying patient risk, a plus.

Position Duties:

Exhibit a mastery of healthcare payer and provider multi-dimensional or OLAP reporting, data mining, analysis, and proreconciliation.*

Analyze trends and variances in detail over time and against benchmarks.

Accurately collects, analyzes, synthesizes, and prepares data and conducts studies/reviews in a timely manner for use by senior management and workstreams.*

Analyzes operational data, guides appropriate review methodology, and utilizes appropriate reporting tools in the evaluation of organization and physician performance.

Interfaces with COO and CFO to provide new tools to better price and predict ROI on new population contracts.

Automation driven, seeks scalable solutions that maximize forward looking data impact to clinically savvy customers as well as patients with complex conditions. *

Reconcile, analyze, and report utilizing data marts from multiple data sources in large, multi-dimensional BI reporting tools.*

Create and maintain tools to assist customers in analysis using the best of deep analysis and machine learning tools.  Expert at analysis tool selection and driven to constantly create new algorithms and learn new tools and techniques.*

Train and assist users in understanding processes, data, reports, and analyses.*
