*Job Description*The Clinical Research Pharmacist will be responsible for the life cycle of investigational product (IP). This includes, but not limited to: receiving, documentation, preparing, dispensing, administering, and counseling. This requires the Clinical Research Pharmacist to be trained and proficient in clinical research concepts, as well as the specific activities associated with respective studies. The role will collaborate closely with providers, study coordinators, and the rest of the CTS Clinical Care Team. Additionally, this role must engage with the necessary enterprise colleagues to ensure regulatory requirements of clinical trials physical space and documentation are maintained. Supervise direct reports supporting the execution of the responsibilities outlined below as new sites are added. Responsibilities:1. Receives, store, prepare/compound, dispense and counsel investigational product and materials for CTS research studies.2. Serves as a resource to CTS investigators in the review and management of research protocols3. Manages required record-keeping, shipping, ordering and inventory activities in accordance with standard requirements for clinical trials4. Creates research protocol orders for clinical trials5. Ensures compliance with all applicable CTS, governmental, and pharmaceutical company customer regulations, laws and policies related to the conduct of trials involving investigational or marketed drugs*Required Qualifications*Active Pharmacy License in the state of NCNot on the DEA Excluded Parties ListImmunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA)No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances*COVID Requirements**COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement*CVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
