Summary:
Provides oversight to all research laboratories within the School of Pharmacy & Health Professions. Manages activities of research studies and projects of the Departments. Facilitates communication and supervision of the work of graduate students in the department. Day-to-day operation of the SPAHP research laboratories, instruments, and their operation. Responsible for maintaining and arranging the preventive maintenance of the major instruments of the school. Responsible for implementation of compliance issues in the laboratory for safety as well as federally funded grants. Responsible for the oversite of the chemical databases of the school. Reporting directly to the Department of Pharmacy Sciences Chair where the Masters in Pharmaceutical Sciences graduate program resides, and the Associate Dean for Research.

Qualifications:
Master's Degree in related field of Science required, Ph.D. preferred
6-8 year's research lab experience
Supervisory experience required
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Experience in writing manuscripts, etc.
Organizational skills
Analytical skills required
