The Quality Analyst (QA) assists the Manager of Medical Staff Quality in coordinating and overseeing the workflow and activities of other Medical Staff Quality resources.  The QA mentors and coaches staff to ensure the achievement of department and system quality and patient safety goals, establishing effective relationships with key physician stakeholders and medical staff committees.  Additionally, this position is responsible for coordinating data collection, analysis and reporting functions required for Medical Staff Quality initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree required
 

Experience: Three years experience in statistical PI related experience preferred. Quality or other Clinical Effectiveness related functions in hospital setting or clinical experience preferred.
 

Licensure, certification, and/or registration: None required
 

Other Minimum Qualifications: Excellent written or verbal communications skills. Knowledge and skills in data management/information systems required, knowledge of quality improvement and statistical analysis preferred. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to plan and organize work to meet time requirements. Demonstrated ability to work on team projects. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Publisher, and PowerPoint.
