Description
Novo Nordisk in West Lebanon, NH has an exciting QC Inspection & Operations role for a detail oriented team player! The person in this role will be responsible for testing and laboratory operational support for QC GMP functions. Primary focus will be on support activities such as routine testing, sample and buffer preparation, laboratory inventory, waste management, material inspection, and general laboratory support.

Main job tasks:
  • Sample receipt/login/inspection.
  • Conducts lab inventory and associated activities to restock QC laboratories.
  • Routine QC housekeeping activities not limited to sanitizations of hoods, freezers, refrigerators and bench tops, daily temperature checks, chart recorder change out, and glassware cleaning.
  • Records management including filing of data, archiving and maintenance.
  • Coordinates raw material testing with both in-house and contract laboratories, independently.
  • Releases raw materials in conjunction with Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
  • Maintains an up-to-date filing system for both open and closed inspection records.
  • Maintains a comprehensive sample retain system for raw materials.
  • Identifies and segregates nonconforming raw materials and product components for further inspection and review.
  • Other duties as job requires.
  • Performs all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations and industry codes.
  • Incorporates the Novo Nordisk Way and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with others.

Knowledge, skills & abilities and experience:
Education and education:
  • High School Diploma with two (2) years related experience or Associate’s degree with one (1) year related experience.

Skills & abilities:
  • Works with general supervision and instruction on routine work and detailed instruction for new activities or special assignments.

Physical requirements and working environment:
  • The ability to climb, balance, reach, stand, and walk.
  • The ability to push, lift, finger, grasp, and feel.
  • The ability to speak, listen, and understand verbal and written communication.
  • Repetition including substantial movement of wrists, hands, and or fingers.
  • Lifting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Visual acuity to perform close activities such as: reading, writing, and analyzing; and to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations.
  • The working environment includes a variety of physical conditions including: noise, inside and outside conditions including temperature changes; proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
