Description
This is an estimated 6-12 month contract position with a global pharmaceutical manufacturer and one of the largest gene therapy manufacturers in the world. A full, comprehensive benefits package is available for this position.
Some of the responsibilities of this role include:
- Own and manage project scope definition, charter agreement and, confirmation of project requirements
- Own and manage project specific budget and schedule, managing changes through documentation and escalation as defined by site practice or procedures
- Define necessary project resourcing plan along with the necessary scopes of work to bid and perform such work
- Define necessary procurement plan and sourcing strategy associated with a project
- Manage third party vendors including construction, engineering services, validation
- Lead the team of assigned engineers, clients, SMEs, and quality to deliver the agreed upon scope
- Manages team expectations and accountable for the successful project delivery
- Drives team decisions & compiles communication for escalations requiring governance
- Create and maintain integrated project schedule for equipment, services, furniture and construction (provided by general contractor as applicable)
- Host periodic and ad-hoc meetings, track issues, document, and issue meeting minutes
- Manage and track project budget and spending
- Maintain and update Master Equipment List and CMMS equipment numbering
- Generate scopes of work for outside services
- Obtain equipment quotations (as required) based on Master Equipment List, furniture, automation and IT SOW
- Submit purchase requisitions and coordinate procurement of equipment
- Coordinate and support vendor delivery and installation activity
- Create and manage project change notifications/engineering change notifications
- Coordinate and participate in punch list walkthrough management
- Accountable for project closure including transfer of care and custody to end user (turn over packages, cut sheets, drawings, etc.)
You might be qualified for this role if you have:
- Bachelor' s Degree in a relatable engineering field is preferred
- Experience in the areas listed above
- Highly skilled at putting together PowerPoint presentations
- Versed in using and navigating Sharepoint
- Extreme attention to detail
- Ability to perform extreme value engineering
- Willingness to travel to the office every day
