Project Control Specialist III 

 
  
  

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Project Controls Specialist III, are to: 

 

  • Support Project team and Cost Estimator to prepare cost estimation and main schedule during the planning process of Capital Expenditure(CapEx) projects;
  • Coordinate risk analysis and contingency calculation;
  • Implement and perform project monitoring and data collection to determine if the project is progressing according schedule and plan budget in mid-size CapEx Investment projects for the site / division according PES phase model and PMI practices;
  • Identify deviations for time and budget, and properly communicate to Project Manager;
  • Implement and ensure correct cost workflow allocations between the project (cost structures);
  • Elaborate monthly report and report project status in the corresponding tools;
  • Collaborate with Procurement to follow up of equipment and services acquisitions, and contract & claim management process;
  • Support Lead Controller in estimation, progress tracking, project monitoring and forecasting according Bayer policies, tools and processes;
  • Contribute to the preparation of the project close out report.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 4 or more years of experience in Project Engineering, data analysis, cost control, estimation and scheduling;
  • Working experience with PMI methodology;
  • Knowledge in Project Management, Risk Assessment, Data Analysis and Project Engineering;
  • Experience with the following tools: MS Excel Advanced, SAP (Project System), Microsoft Project, Primavera P6;
  • Excellent communication skills; customer focus and collaboration skills; ability to deal with ambiguity and conflicts;
  • Mobility 25%.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Master's Degree in Project Management or Business Administration;
  • PMP Certification.
