Scope of Position (i.e. projects involved with and role within group): Manager for coatings, thin films and surfaces technology group. Define strategy and lead overall product, process and reliability technology delivery to enable value adding features to glass products. Manage and leverage the resources of a global technical team to meet the business and program objectives. Work with customers and the commercial organizations to understand and translate customer needs into internal requirements


Day to Day Responsibilities: Cascade business and program goals into technology objectives. Manage and prioritize activities supporting multiple business units. Define, execute, and communicate results from experiments and tests. Project leadership and/or technical leadership role.


Travel Requirements (please note if international): 25-30%, with international travel to Asia and Europe


Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time: : 40 hours/ week


Education and Experience (minimum required for consideration) M.S. in Material Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or Glass Science.
