Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Responsibilities: 

  • Interface with all departments, responsible for in-depth planning, scheduling, coordinating, and final approval of NPI projects. 
  • Oversee monthly and quarterly assessments and forecast of organization's financial performance and operational goals. 
  • Data analysis with respect to developing and reporting on operational KPIs (Key Performance Indicator); identifying trends and substantial statistical significance viewpoints; improving cost reduction and process cycle-time. Maintain data accuracy and reconcile discrepancies. Prepare ad-hoc report s per request. 
  • Take the role of Records Management Facilitator in AFOP: keep track and maintain both digital and physical records of all internal documentation to reduce risk of exposure outside the company, to improve access of information and to meet government’s regulations and compliance.

Requirements: 

  • Solid experience in International Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Data Analysis, and Business Strategy & Development. 
  • Must have excellent customer communication skills, direct and control work flow between departments of factories overseas to manage production, ensure materials schedule and control production flow (expediting, canceling, pushing out, etc.) 
  • Knowledge of operations management and experience of ERP systems, production planning, sales/marketing and inventory management modules in Sage Pro or similar SAP, MF2K and EDI system. 
  • Proficient in spreadsheet applications such as Excel, Google Sheets, pivot tables, vlookup and Macro. Knowledge in SQL to write complex, highly optimized queries across large columns of data. 
  • Skills in Tableau or equivalent to create reports and visualize data. Being able to use Marco coding in Excel for inventory control and financial/sales reports for management. 
  • Knowledge in production qualification requirement, import/export documentations and international trade agreements and regulations such as COO, COC, RoHS, etc. 
  • Experience in VMI orders. 
  • BS degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Finance or related field.  MBA or Master's Degree in Supply Chain desired.
  • 3 years of global business operations in areas of warehouse, inventory, production planning and logistics. 
  • 2 years of data analysis in Finance field. 
  • Bilingual skills in English/Mandarin.
