Job Description
PURPOSE:

Intern will perform tactical and project based duties in a multi-faceted Procurement department in the integration of legacy suppliers. Duties will include data collection and analysis through the use of system queries, updating procedural requirements, and assist in closure of CR actions related to supplier integration.

RELATIONSHIPS:

Reports to: Sr. Manager, Supply Chain and EH&S

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Complete applicable project training
* Run SAP queries to identify impacted suppliers and part numbers
* Assist in the determination of where used for impacted suppliers and part numbers
* Complete redline revisions in word for procedural updates and upload in the documentation system for approval
* Perform CR queries to assist in tracking completion of work by necessary due dates
* Assist in providing project status updates
* Attend applicable meetings
* Other ad-hoc duties and tasks as assigned (Procurement or Warehouse functions)
* Other duties as assigned.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
* Education Level: Bachelors/Masters degree in business or industrial engineering
* Rising Sophomore or above
* Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with teams; must effectively operate independently, across functional lines, and with internal customers
* Additional exposure to company wide ERP/MRP systems preferred.
* Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability and willingness to learn
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
