*Process Operator/Production Technician* Multiple Positions Available! Kelly Science & Clinical is currently recruiting for several Process Operators/Production Technicians with pharmaceutical company located in Grand Prairie, TX 75050. *Job Responsibilities:* * Accountabilities include daily production, quality and sanitization, safety compliance, equipment operation, data collection, and housekeeping. * Operates automatic and manual manufacturing and chemical process equipment of varying complexity in various production processes in accordance with Departmental Operating Procedures (DOPs) and performs a variety of tasks related to the processing of ingredients and/or pharmaceutical products. * Responsible for handling raw materials and intermediate or finished products, mixes compound ingredients for liquid products, suspensions, or blends for tablet granulations, and packages product according to Batch Record specifications and applicable quality procedures. * Technician may perform general maintenance as required on equipment and will follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). * Technician maintains records as required and may monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. * Technician works within a structure that requires considerable interaction with others in the same production unit as well as other production units and support functions. *Key Job Functions and Responsibilities: * * Cleans and maintains equipment and production area, as needed * Runs, disassembles, cleans, and sets-up equipment within Batch Record specifications * Monitors schedule and availability of raw materials and packaging materials for current and subsequent production runs * Coordinates with warehouse to ensure availability of materials * Dispenses raw materials within Batch Record specifications * Charges and blends raw materials in the Manufacturing area(s) * Packages product according to Batch Record specifications and applicable quality procedures * Prepares finished product for shipping * Follows applicable cGMP procedures and applicable SOPs and DOPs * Maintains correct documentation per GMPs and procedures by accurately completing batch records, all regulatory and compliance-related documentation; report variances * Adheres to company quality policies and procedures, resulting in the output of high quality products * Visually inspects product and equipment * Sets and maintains machines to consistently operate within set parameters * Performs housekeeping activities in work area and facility * Follows all safety guidelines. Maintain a safe and professional work environment * Responsible for the proper handling, inventory control, processing, reconciliation, or analysis of pharmaceuticals and controlled substances in accordance with company policies and procedures * Maintains ethical behavior and conduct *Knowledge and Skills Required: * * Education: High school diploma or GED required (minimum 2 years college preferred). * Experience: 3 years of light industrial manufacturing experience (Pharmaceutical or related preferred) * Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs. regularly (box or bag), as well as the ability to safely wear personal protective equipment * Ability to perform basic applied mathematics * Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software and general computer operations in order to enter inventory details or Batch Record data and generate reports. * Day Shift; M-F *You should know:* Your safety matters!
