General Purpose:

The Language Line Medication Therapy Management Pharmacist position is a remote (telecommute), position providing specialized patient review and drug therapy recommendations for insurer's eligible members in languages other than English.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

* Perform telephonic comprehensive medication reviews
* Update patient profiles based on information gathered during the review
* Discuss any Drug Therapy Problems to optimize patient's drug therapy and minimize the potential for adverse drug reactions
* Work with multidisciplinary team to enhance and develop our MedPro software
* Complete at least 2 CMRs per hour
* Assist Clinical team in meeting proficiency and quality goals

Leadership Duties (If Applicable)

* Establish positive partnerships across business groups both inside and outside of the organization

Education & Experience:

* Doctorate of Pharmacy degree, or equivalent
* Active, unrestricted Pharmacy license
* Secure high-speed internet access (Preferable Ethernet connection)
* HIPAA-secure work space with NO BACKGROUND NOISE
* A commitment of up to 30 hours per week is preferred
* Proficient in Chinese, Korean, and/or Vietnamese

Minimum Physical Requirement:

The Medication Therapy Management Pharmacist - Language Line will perform his or her work in a HIPAA secure work space with no background noise using standard office equipment. The following demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

* Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
* Bend, twist or stoop on a repetitive and continuous basis
* Stand and remain on feet for extended periods of time
* Operate various business instruments, including computers, printers/scanners/fax machines, requiring manual dexterity
* Sit and concentrate for long periods of time to compute, examine, and interpret data
* Read paperwork and computer monitors, requiring visual acuity

Skills:

* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Outstanding telephone skills and etiquette
* Excellent clinical and analytical skills
* Ability to work independently and show initiative
* Working knowledge of Google Docs and Microsoft Excel
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
