Position Overview: 

As a postdoctoral fellow in immuno-oncology PK/PD research based in our West Point site in Pennsylvania, you will work with a highly collaborative team of scientists with background in immuno-oncology, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and safety assessment research to conceive, design, plan and implement advanced experiments/assays to explore the relationship of exposure-response in the context of adverse events caused by certain anti-cancer immuno-modulators. You will focus on developing animal models and quantitative systems pharmacology models with the long term goal to develop capabilities to evaluate and predict adverse effects in relation to cancer immunotherapy.  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  
  • Employing complex in vivo tumor model systems to address specific questions related to immune regulation and adverse effects
  • Developing quantitative systems pharmacology models to predict adverse effects in relationship to drug exposure 


Education Minimum Requirement: 
  • PhD with less than 3 years of Postdoctoral Experience or achieved a Ph.D. by Spring/Summer of  2018 
Required Experience and Skills:
  • Experience in the exploration of  in vivo models in one or more of the following therapeutic areas: Immunology, tumor immunology, infectious diseases or autoimmune diseases


Preferred Experience and Skills: 

  • Ability to design experiments, interpret and track results, and utilize this information to enable assay and model development
  • Strong history of publication in peer-reviewed journals
  • Bioanalytical experience related to pharmacokinetics of protein therapeutics
  • Experience in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of protein therapeutics
  • Modeling and simulation experience of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics
