This work will provide novel mechanistic understanding of vaccine hyporesponse in the elderly.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Assembling and exploring integrated clinical, cellular and molecular biology, and microbiome data
  • Using modeling and simulation methods including logic-based dynamical network methods to identify systems immunology mechanisms that describe the data
  • Developing or collaborating to develop new computational methods for causal analysis of complex profiling data
  • Working with the research team to develop hypotheses for mechanisms underlying vaccine hyporesponse in the elderly, help design and analyze experiments
Qualifications

Education Minimum Requirement:
  • PhD with less than 3 years of Postdoctoral Experience or meet all requirements for a Ph.D. by Spring/early Summer of 2018
Required Experience and Skills:
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: immunology, infectious disease, microbiology
  • Experience with data visualization, analysis and coding, using e.g. R and Matlab
  • Experience with data modeling such as population pharmacokinetic models, chemical reaction kinetics-based models, or other model-based analyses
