Job Purpose

A Postdoctoral Position is now available in the Pautler lab for individuals wishing to obtain training in tumor biology and translational imaging. In this translational project, under the mentorship. The Postdoc will be in charge of a project characterizing and further developing a novel 19F/Eu MRI agent that is sensitive to imaging hypoxia in preclinical tumor models with the goal of eventual clinical applications.  This individual will also be trained to perform small animal MRI experiments if he/she has no prior MRI experience.

Job Responsibilities
  • Plans, directs and conducts specialized and advanced research experiments.
  • Evaluates and analyzes data.
  • May establish new research protocols and procedures.
  • Summarizes research findings and publish results in research journals.
  • May be responsible for laboratory operations.
  • May supervise research staff.
Minimum Qualifications

Education: Ph.D in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
