The pharmacy technician supervisor monitors daily activities, manages technician work schedule to ensure needs of the business and customer service standards are maintained. The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor will be responsible to hire, train, evaluate new technician employees, uses independent judgement requiring analysis of variable factors to solve basic problems, collaborate with management; responsible for performing inventory control and compliance audits. The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor will provide a unique skillset to compliment and support the Pharmacist Manager, whose primary responsibilities are to maintain the day-to-day operations, staffing, increase pharmacy revenue and serve as the Pharmacist expert for each EBNHC pharmacy location. The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor reports to the Pharmacy Manager, and works closely with employees and leaders across East Boston Neighborhood Health Center and other entities, as needed.Educational RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED. (Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirement)Must have an active Massachusetts license with the Board of PharmacyExperience Requirements4-6 of related experienceExperience in team leadership or a supervisory role positionExperience within the Health care industry working with health center or hospital operationsSkills/AbilitiesAbility to use data to evaluate outcomes requiredWorking knowledge and experience with electronic medical record systems, performance dashboards, database products, and analysis toolsProficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and OutlookMust have excellent attention to detail to all areas of compliance
