The Pharmacy Technician assists in the provision of pharmaceutical services under the direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist by performing the technical, clerical and manipulative tasks involved in storage and control, dispensing, preparing, and distributing all medications and pharmaceutical products for all patient age groups (includes geriatrics, adult, adolescent, pediatric and neonatal). Work and/or performance shall conform to written established hospital policies and procedures. A pharmacy technician II is trained in aseptic technique for preparing IV solutions. Graduate of an accredited training program or two years experience. Registered by the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy. PTCB preferred
