We serve as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Position Summary

This individual performs routine pharmacy technician duties and responsibilities, operates computers, facsimile machines and other electronic devices, issues and receives controlled substances and provides support in achieving the goals and objectives of the pharmacy department. All dispensing activities must be supervised by a pharmacist as required by law.

Minimum Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent or higher required.

Certification with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board preferred.

Must be registered with the NC Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of employment. Certified with the PTCB preferred.

One year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital pharmacy required.

* 8:30am to 6:00pm
